Is population explosion a boon or a curse? For the
countries, where the population is decreasing day by day like European
countries might be considered as a boon. However, countries like India, where
the population is increasing continuously, it is a curse and damaging the
development of the country. The developing countries are already lacking with
resources and with the rapid growth of population, leading to problems like
malnutrition, poverty, etc. Point to remember, with the rapid growth of
population, the resources available per person will be less.
To address of problem of malnutrition, poverty and various
other problems related to population, we celebrate the world population
day. We celebrate word population day on
11th July every year and the core objectives of this day are the importance of
family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health & human health.

combined with our lack of understanding about how the natural systems of which
