The leading face of the Indian television industry, Cheshta Mehta is
once again back as Meera in the popular serial, “Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana”. The
Gujrat born actress has been a popular face of television for few years and
has enthralled the audience with her roles in noteworthy serials like Devon Ke
Dev… Mahadev (2014), Rumm Pumm Po (2015), Sinhasan Battisi (2014) and Tenali
Rama (2019). Ms Mehta has been formerly Miss Gujrat 2008 and has been the face
of various commercial advertisements.
Ms Mehta has not just been a popular face of tv industry, but also,
she has a penchant for giving back to society as she considers her blessed
to be a medium of a smile on the face of the underprivileged sections of the
society. She also voices her opinions on various social issues. Unlike other
stars, who seem untouchable to their fans, Ms Mehta regularly interacts with
her fans on social media.
In her most recent role as Meera in Zindagi Mere
Ghar Aana, she has taken a new role of modern working independent women unlike
her other previous roles where she was portrayed as cute and romantic and
taken it to the next level, The drama between Meera (Cheshta Mehta), Kabeer
(Ishaan Dhawan), Amrita (Esha Kansara) Angad (Ankit Narang) resulted in a major
liking between fans. The show is produced by talented Zama Habib who earlier
