Hi Guys! we are back again with another interesting blog and this time; it’s related to the theme & poster of WED 2021. We have been celebrating WED for many years, but we could not understand the importance of the environment. The whole world has been suffering from coronavirus since last year and this pandemic has realized the importance of the environment especially oxygen in human life. Development is cool and it should be there every time but not at the expense of the environment. The environment should be above all and we should have the philosophy of environment first.
If we see the current covid situation, it has become worse in the
several parts of the world especially in America, India, Britain, etc. In India,
the medical infra is suffering due to the shortages of oxygen and it is known
to everyone that we get it free from plants. The shortage of oxygen has
realized us the importance of plants in our life. The chaos due to the shortage
of oxygen made us think about the way we cut trees in the name of development. We
should punish those who illegally cut trees to earn profit without thinking of
humanity.
Let us pledge together that this environment day we will plant a tree
for our future generation, and one more thought here, that planting of trees is
not sufficient, small plants need nourishment like baby kids. While planting
trees, you should promise yourself, that "I will take care of this plant whole
life". There is no need to celebrate WED if it is not in your DNA. We should
stop this hypocrite if we are not cautious about the environment. If you are reading
further this post, I am assuming that you are a nature lover and at the end of
this blog, I am going to share 10~15 tips that you must follow and serve the
motherland. Writing, reading &
taking selfies around the trees is not sufficient, start serving the motherland.
We are already too late and if we still did not stop, you can’t save your
existence.

UN environment program. Under Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Government of
Pakistan – in one of the world’s maximum bold afforestation efforts – plans to
increase and repair the country’s forests through a 10 billion tree tsunami
unfold over five years. The marketing campaign consists of restoring mangroves
and forests, in addition to planting timber in city settings, which include
schools, colleges, public parks, and green belts. Pakistan has released an
Ecosystem Restoration Fund to guide nature-primarily based answers to weather
alternate and facilitate the transition in the direction of environmentally
resilient, ecologically centered tasks protecting afforestation and biodiversity
conservation.
This year’s observance of World Environment Day will be on the topic of
‘ecosystem restoration and attention to resetting our relationship with nature.
It may also mark the formal release of the UN decade on ecosystem restoration

The ecosystem is the structural and useful unit of ecology wherein the living organisms interact with every different and encompassing environment. In different words, an ecosystem is a series of interactions among organisms and their environment. The term “Ecosystem” was first coined by A.G.Tansley. There are two types of ecosystem terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem. A land-based ecosystem is known as a terrestrial ecosystem. The terrestrial ecosystem is further distributed and divided into various geological zones. They are as follows forest ecosystem, grassland ecosystem, tundra Ecosystem, and desert ecosystems ecosystem present in water bodies is known as an aquatic ecosystem. It is further dived into the freshwater ecosystem and marine ecosystem. When we talk about the structure of the ecosystem it split into biotic and abiotic. All the life in the ecosystem is known as biotic components, while all the non-living component of an ecosystem is known as abiotic components. The major functions of the ecosystem are it supports life systems, regulates ecological processes, cycling of nutrients between biotic and abiotic components.
WHY ECOSYSTEMS ARE NECESSARY
The ecosystem includes all the living organisms and the interaction
among them and with their surroundings in each place or area. They exist from
grain soil to forests, rivers, wetlands, grasslands, and coral reefs.
The ecosystem gives us innumerable benefits which include a good climate, fresh air, water, food, and materials of different kinds.it protects us from natural disasters and diseases. Natural ecosystems are necessary for our overall health. But the ecosystem is facing massive threats in the entire world. Forests are being cut, rivers and lakes are polluted with industrial waste and sewage, mountains soils are eroded, farmlands and grasslands are overused. So, we must change our ways and restore the ecosystem.
