of Chandrayaan 2. The idol of Lord Ganesha (Lalbaugcha Raja) has been designed
by Santosh Kamble and it is placed in the center of mandap. The surrounding

Best ideas for the Eco-Friendly Ganpati Decorations
It is an auspicious moment for every Hindus devotee and all are ready to welcome Lord Ganesh either
at home or in big pandals with folded hands. Here in this post, we are going to
share some creative & innovative ideas for the Eco-Friendly Ganpati
Decorations either at pandals or home.
- Drapes
and colorful curtains
The first idea to have some fancy sarees and dupattas and hang them behind the idols of
Ganpati. To make the pandal look more vibrant & beautiful, decorate your
pandal with strings of lights and flowers. The color of these curtains or
saree should be matched with the theme.
- Plants
and leaves
Environmentalists
rejoice! From last few years, we have opted the concept of eco-friendly Ganpati
decorations and similarly this year, you can go with the same idea of going green.
Decorate your house and pandal with plants & to make it more beautiful, add
bamboos, stick, flowers, etc.
- Flowers
The next
idea in the list of creative & innovative ideas for the decorations of
Ganpati Pandals is to decorate your houses/pandal with flowers. Choose from a
variety of fresh and pure flowers of different colors and arrange them in
beautiful patterns around the mandap. Made the long strands of flowers and hang
them behind the idol of Lord Ganesha.
- Coloured
Paper and mirror
The next
innovative idea/theme for eco-friendly Ganpati decoration is to use some
colourful papers and work of mirror. On this Ganesh Chaturthi, use vibrant
color chart patterns and makes some shapes of flower, fans, circular and half-circular
pinwheels, etc. and put them behind the idol.
- Rangolis
I like this
idea and I always favor making Rangoli in the festival like Diwali. The same
idea can be used in Ganpati Utsav as well. Use eco-friendly color to make
beautiful Rangoli in the pandal and put some flowers around it to make it more
beautiful.
So, let your
creativity run and decorate your house, pandal, societies, etc. with eco-friendly
Ganpati theme which can create a unique ambiance filled with purity, divinity,
and colors.
